Nan, I am now on your blog but I don't know how to get the most recent thing you said, unless it was the short 2-liner after Sherry's comment. I hope you are better today. Some of the comments were quite inspirational. Sorry mine wasn't but I didn't think I would have the courage to deal with getting on the blog so wasn't prepared. Take care, love teri

Dear Nan,

Tonight I read all the entries on your blog, which was recommended to me by our friend David Finke. Thank you for being willing to share your spiritual journey, which is so very moving to me! I am with you in Spirit during this time. May God bless you with the riches of grace every step of your way, and may you be filled with love and peace.

You enhance my my daily joy of the natural workd that has been given us and that we can see, with its woodpeckers, racoons, flowers and butterflies. There must be another population active at night that we don't see in the daylight, because most of the compost I dump on my compost pile during the day disappears during the night--such as moldy bread, dried up carrots, and orange skins. A very literal observation of things seen and unseen.
Youare givning us a good model of how to keep centered whilde not flinching from the unpleasant treatment.

The question had arisen about how to get new postings via e-mail. Just scroll down on this screen to a box on the lower right that lets you type in your e-mail address, and then a program (invented by Google, I think) called "FeedBurner" takes over. That's all there is to it!

Another techie note: To get beyond this "Welcome" page, click on the "Blog" tab at the top. And be sure to click on "comments" to see follow-up notes from others. I just LOVE seeing all these love-notes! They're good for all of us ... not just Nan George.

Yours for More Love-Notes, -DHF

To get in my non-quakerly vote, I vote for a hat lined with sheepskin (sorry about that, sheep of the world) for winter. Whatever is fun and cool looking but warm for trips to the manicurist!

You should ask the manicurist if they can paint cocoons on your orange nails. You've got the photos : )

Blessings on your journey, Friend. You are being held in the Light by many.

While visiting 57th Street Meeting a week ago, I had this message to offer from Meister Eckhert, a 12th century mystic.

Up, noble soul!
Put on thy jumping shoes
which are love and intuition,
Overleap the worship of they mental powers
and leap into the heart of God.

Later I learned that another person had quoted Eckhert
the previous week. Do you think there was an echo in the air?
